This guide explains how to create a rule in Zoho Mail that automatically sends a notification in Zoho Cliq whenever a new email arrives from Trello notifications. This automation ensures that your team stays informed about Trello updates in real-time.
A Zoho Mail account
A Zoho Cliq account with access to a specific channel for notifications
Zoho Flow or Zoho Mail’s built-in webhook functionality (optional, but recommended for advanced automation)
Log in to Zoho Mail.
Click on the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner.
Under Mail Settings, navigate to Filters
.
Click on Add Filter
Provide a Filter Name (e.g., "Trello Notifications to Cliq").
In the Conditions section:
Select From and enter do-not-reply@trello.com(or any specific Trello email address used for notifications).
Add another condition with type: To/CC. Choose contains and make sure you put your email there. See screenshot below.
In actions, please add the following action: "Post to cliq channel".
